Germantown’s Rittenhouse Soundworks is hosting an evening of international and instrumental music performed by local musicians this Sunday, May 15th. Opened last fall by percussionist Jim Hamilton, the multi-use venue is home to a beautiful recording studio, vinyl reference library, video production set, a performance stage and more.

This week’s line-up of local musicians includes six-piece Brazilian jazz group Ensemble Novo (featuring best-selling author Tom Moon on saxophone), French dance music performers Cabriole, The Stephen Guerra Choro Trio (featuring Jim Hamilton), The Germantown Flute Ensemble and the Germantown Friends School Advanced World Percussion DIS performing Ghanaian Ewe drumming.

Tickets for the all-ages concert can be purchased at the door, with more information available here. Watch Ensemble Novo perform music from their Blue Note album below.
