Listen to Australian bluesman C.W. Stoneking’s latest, “The Thing I Done”
Australian bluesman C.W. Stoneking kicks off his first ever North American tour this week, including a stop this Wednesday night, May 25th at Boot and Saddle. In anticipation of the tour and his upcoming album Gon’ Boogaloo, out June 3rd via his own King Hokum Records, Stoneking has premiered a new track, “The Thing I Done.”
Earlier this month, we shared with you “Get On The Floor,” a time machine of a track that can make you dance your way back to the ’20s. This time though, Stoneking dims things down with a song that has him owning up to, and maybe even regretting, what he’s done. Its darkness seems to tie in to the masked image of Stoneking that is donned on the cover of Gon’ Boogaloo.
