We don’t often have guest DJs on the Indie Rock Hit Parade (in fact, the title was previously held by just Jon Wurster). This time around, we got a pair of very special guests to curate their own playlist for the Hit Parade. Abbi Jacobson is one of the creators and stars of Comedy Central’s Broad City, and her dad Alan is the president of Philadelphia-based design partnership ex;it + J2. Together they join host Eric Schuman to chat about Abbi’s rigorous work schedule, Alan’s fandom of Broad City and their shared connection to the Golden Slipper organization. They also share some of their favorite music picks from Courtney Barnett, Tom Waits and Arcade Fire’s Will Butler.
