“Take Time” to watch the latest music video from Hardwork Movement
Hardwork Movement have been living up to their namesake. The powerhouse hip-hop collective have been busy around the clock playing gigs and promoting their January-released debut LP Good Problems. Just last month, the group released a music video for their song “The Flow Yo,” and now they are treating us again with another video installment, this time for the soul-filled track “Take Time.”
The video, directed by Andrew Nadkarni, follows the group around the city while they sing about the riches of their peers and wonder when it will be their time to succeed. Rooftop raps are interspersed between shots of the band setting up pre-gig and live footage of a small club performance.
During the group’s set at our Key Fest in April, we saw just how much of a blindingly brilliant stage presence Hardwork Movement has, and it’s been great to see them continue to put out vibrant videos.
You can check out Hardwork Movement at the Spruce Street Harbor Park Waterfront Sessions Live Music Series on Thursday, June 23rd from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. with the soulful act New Sound Brass.
