A powerful Sunday night set with Pity Sex, Petal and PWR BTTM

Last week, the Michigan indie rockers Pity Sex set out on a month long tour with support from their friends in Petal and PWR BTTM. The tour made its way to Philly Sunday night, where each band was welcomed with a tremendous applause from the packed crowd at Union Transfer. Petal kicked off the show, followed by PWR BTTM, and then Pity Sex.
During PWR BTTM’s set, the band ended their performance with a candle lighting in honor of the victim killed in the Orlando nightclub shooting. The candle lighting was followed by a cover of “Somewhere Over The Rainbow,” a song near and dear to Liv Bruce of PWR BTTM.
