Cold Roses and Nik Greeley among those to perform at this year’s 2nd Street Festival
It was announced Monday that the 8th annual 2nd Street Festival will take place on Sunday, August 7th. 2nd Street will be shut down between Germantown and Green as Northern Liberties is inundated with food trucks, vendors, beer gardens, workshops, and more. The Festival is free and all ages are welcome to attend.
With over 50,000 attendees, 2nd Street Fest will need some tunes to entertain. So far this year, they’ve got local alt-country band Cold Roses, D.C. hip-hop group Footwerk, Philly soul rockers Nik Greeley & The Operators, and jazz comedians After Dinner Mints. We put together a tiny sampling of what you might hear from those acts below. Check it out, and head to the 2nd Street Fest’s site for more info.
