Angel Olsen brings sass and skates to “Shut Up Kiss Me” music video

Angel Olsen is certainly her own woman, as apparent in the name of her soon to be released LP My Woman. In her latest music video for the song “Shut Up Kiss Me,” Olsen takes any excuse to have a little fun.

Whether it’s donning a tinsel wig and seafoam green bomber jacket or being dragged across the roller rink just for the hell of it, this self-written and directed video is the perfect companion to the punchy track. Propped up at the bar or whizzing through backrooms, Olsen maintains a deviously sweet hold on the camera.

Exuding energy (I suddenly want to dig up my rollerblades and go for a spin) the video and new song are an exciting preview of what we can expect on Olsen’s new full-length. Set for release on September 2nd via Jagjaguwar, we hope Olsen’s metallic new do makes an appearance on her fall tour.
