Full Grown PUP: Toronto rockers to headline Union Transfer in November
Toronto’s PUP is coming through Philly again, this time graduating to Union Transfer. The four-piece punk outfit played PhilaMOCA back in June, and the November 5th show will be about two years after they played The Barbary.
The Philly date falls smack dab in the middle of a North American tour announced Tuesday. It comes after PUP toured this past spring in support of their sophomore LP The Dream Is Over, an album that’s been a big hit. It was a glorious second go-around for the band, especially considering they’re almost one year removed from receiving the frightening news that vocalist/guitarist Stefan Babcock had potentially career-ending cyst on his vocal cords.
Tickets to PUP’s November 5th Union Transfer show go on sale this Thursday, July 14th (Bastille Day!) over at the band’s site. Keep an eye on the XPN Concert Calendar for more details, and give The Dream is Over a listen below.
