Philly rapper The Bul Bey has a knack for crafting striking visuals to his music, whether you’re talking about the high-energy, infectious visual for his 2015 hit “Where I’m From” to his commanding charisma whenever he steps to the stage.

Today we got the first new video we’ve seen from Bey in a minute.  “So Much Further To Go” from Shaking Hands and Kissing Babies has a mean nightclub bounce with lots of sensory stimuli – bass hits, backup vocals – bouncing back and forth between your left and right headphones. If the song inhabits the after hours, the video is purely set in the daytime, with Bey dancing in the streets at 50th and Baltimore (Dock Street Brewing represent!) all the way the the pedestrian walkway across the Ben Franklin Bridge (um, SugarHouse billboard represent?).

Joining him on this song are the Illvibe Collective’s DJ Matthew Law (see if you can catch him for a hot second), as well as the phenomenal vocalist Faylin Johnson on the hook – who joins Bey on an IndieGo bike for Dance Party Philly: Summer 2016 Edition.

Watch the video below, and catch Bey on Friday, August 19th for Dayne Jordan’s stacked No Place Like Home party at The Foundry of The Fillmore Philadelphia. For tickets and more information, consult the XPN Concert Calendar.
