What a DIY dream. Longtime favorite of The Key Slingshot Dakota and recent XPoNential Festival artist Kississippi have teamed up for an awesome fall tour that’s a testament to doing things on your own terms, not accepting the status quo of the business, and, of course, playing kick ass music. They’ll bring the house down on October 9th at the lovable batting-cages-turned-show-space Everybody Hits with a opening performances by a solo Kiley Lotz of Petal and Fake Boyfriend.

Touring through the month of October, the bands will be joined by Chicago’s Dowsing and Ratboys for a handful of shows as well. The tour was entirely booked by Slingshot Dakota themselves, which allowed them the creative freedom to work with the bands that they love and are inspired by. In a Facebook post from Tuesday the band said:

You can book your OWN package tour, you can make things how you WANT them to be, not because you owe anyone any favors but because you want to curate something really really special on your own terms.

It can be amazing, it can be HUGE, and you can do it YOURSELF. Ya gotta believe

More info on the show can be found on its Facebook event page. Tickets will be available at the door. Check out music from each band below.
