The Dove and The Wolf | Photo by John Vettese for WXPNIndie outfit The Dove and the Wolf has fast become one of our favorites on the local scene over here at Key HQ. The Philly-via-Paris band led by Paloma Gill and Lou Hayat-Camard released its latest EP of serpentine space-folk earlier this year; I Don’t Know What to Feel is aching and immersive, and the band has been playing a lot around town in support of it.

The Dove and the Wolf’s latest appearance happens at the end of this month; they’ll play an Out of Town Films presented gig in the intimate side chapel of the First Unitarian Church on Friday, September 30. Joining them will be Hand Habits, the experimental solo project of guitarist Meg Duffy (who some folks might recognize from Kevin Morby’s band). Duffy sat in on The Dove and The Wolf’s Key Studio Session, lending spectral lead licks to the performance – check out a video of it below, along with some of her solo work in Hand Habits.

Tickets and more information on the all ages show can be found here. NYC duo The Shivers also performs.
