Mothers will headline Philly again (again) this December
Georgia indie rockers Mothers are set to hit the road once again in support of the excellent When You Walk A Long Distance You Are Tired. The tour will see the band travelling up and down the east coast, and it now features a stop at Fishtown venue Johnny Brenda’s on Thursday, December 1st. This is their third Philly show this year, so it would come as no surprise if the title of their new album is starting to ring truer than they’d like it too.
This performance follows a February performance at MilkBoy and another Johnny Brenda’s date this past April. Both of those shows were marked by the band’s powerful sense of dynamics and Kristine Leschper’s elastic, emotive vocals, and Mothers is sure to continue that trend this December.
