Lunacy, the solo project headed by Philly’s Nick Kulp (formerly of Far-Out Fangtooth and Creepoid), released the new single “TAR,” a genre-bending electronic number slated as the first single to be released off of his debut EP Life We Choose To Follow, out November 25th on Kentucky-based Funeral Party Records.

Creating an atmospheric blanket of self-reflection, Kulp uses only a simple drum machine to melodically support his already enveloping insecurities and weaknesses. The barely audible vocals are slowly drowned out throughout the length of the track, developing a sense of anxiety, panic, and hopelessness, somethings that Kulp seems to know a little too much about.

Overall, “TAR” is a spaced-out look back where Kulp doesn’t resolve his emotions, but accepts them. Listen to the track below, and pre-order his debut EP here on Bandcamp.
