Just In: Listen to a new song by The XX, “On Hold”

The XX have shared the first new song from their forthcoming album, I See You. “On Hold” features a sample of “I Can’t Go For That (No Can Do),” by Hall and Oates.

I See You is the London trio’s first new album since 2012’s Coexist. The band – Romy Madley Croft, Oliver Sim and Jamie Smith, recorded the album in multiple locations including New York, Marfa TX, Reykjavik, Los Angeles and London. “On Hold” showcases a more expansive and crisp sound for the band.
