Work Drugs get in the spirit for their annual holiday Spectacle with “All Alone on Christmas”
Eventually, they’re just going to release a Christmas album, and it’ll be a lot of fun. Next month, Philly soft rock / indie pop outfit Work Drugs settle in at Boot and Saddle for their sixth annual Christmas Spectacle, and most of the shows have had songs released in conjunction with them. Their latest stresses the importance of companionship at the holidays, with the hook “Nobody oughta be all alone on Christmas” as the focal point amid swift beats and suave sax by Maxfield Gast. The band refers to the single as “much needed good vibes,” and I’ll agree with them there. Grab a download of “All Alone On Christmas” below.
In other Christmas Spectacle news, Mercury Girls were just added to the December 17th show at Boot and Saddle along with rock and roll dudes RFA. Get tickets and more information on the concert at the XPN Concert Calendar.
