Listen to Dominic’s Goodnight, Doggies, see him Friday at Johnny Brenda’s
Philly staple Dominic (aka Dom Angelella, the man behind DRGN King, one half of Lithuania, current bassist of mewithoutYou, former member of Hop Along and many more) releases his debut Goodnight, Doggies. LP this Friday via Lame-O Records, and celebrates Friday night with a headlining gig at Johnny Brenda’s.
We’ve already brought you the lead single “Birthday Song” (plus a must-listen conversation with his former bandmate Frances Quinlan), stomped our feet to the raw rocker “Savior” and shared the “Emotional Businessman” video; today, we’re happy to share Goodnight, Doggies. in full with you. It runs the gamut: a bit of Steely Dan’s breezy downbeat pop, a bit of Harry Nillson’s quirky contemplation, and some fuzz punk in the vein of Harvey Danger.
Listen to the album (and the FQ chat) below, and get tickets and more information on Friday’s JBs show at the XPN Concert Calendar.
