Marquee rock n’ rollers Low Cut Connie have a hell of a 2017 planned. Earlier this week, the band announced plans to release their fourth studio album Dirty Pictures (part 1) on May 19th via Contender Records. But wait! The band also announced a plethora of US dates for this year, including a gig at Union Transfer on September 8th.

Dirty Pictures (part 1) begins a new era for the Philly misfits, as the band “moves beyond its characteristic drunken bar boogie and dives into deeper, darker, grittier American life”. However, the party hasn’t left just yet in their new video for “Revolution Rock n Roll”, a montage of heck that “capture the band’s explosive night of unconditional love and after-party debauchery”. It’s a piano-driven celebration of the three things held true by the care-free genre: sex, drugs, and rock n’ roll (emphasis on the rock n’ roll). But above all, the video shows that sense of a tightly-woven community that really just wants to have a damn good time with some great tunes. Thank goodness for us, we don’t have to look too far for that.

Watch the video below, and find full US tour dates with the tracklisting/artwork for Dirty Pictures (part 1). If you want to snag some tickets to their Union Transfer show in September, head over to the XPN Concert Calendar.
