The War on Drugs will release a new song, “Thinking of a Place,” on Record Store Day
Since announcing their new home at Atlantic Records back in 2015, we’ve been waiting with baited breath for new music from The War on Drugs. And waiting, and waiting. And today, we have finally have some news: the band’s first song since 2014’s acclaimed Lost In The Dream LP will be called “Thinking Of A Place,” and it comes out on Record Store Day.
As Pitchfork reports, the band tweeted the news this afternoon:

While there’s no teaser music to hear yet, this signals extremely exciting movement in the War on Drugs camp, and we will get you more details as they develop. Record Store Day happens this year on April 22nd.
