Eight piece (yes, eight) band OhBree released their first single from their new record Burn Bridges, Burn Pies through Substream Magazine.”Tiny Tethers” follows fictional rivals Olsson and Edward, a pair of characters dreamt up on the band’s debut We Miss You Edward, Come Home, and their violent cat-and-mouse relationship. The massive lineup adds piano, brass, and fun-ass hooks to a whimsical Never Shout Never style of indie, and while the song is a true “what the hell are you doing to me” type of ballad, it never takes itself too seriously, creating one of the most unconventional tracks of the month. And holy crap I love it. Listen below, and look for Burn Bridges, Burn Pies when it releases on May 19th.
