Queen Jesus and Three Man Cannon will hit the road together this month

Taking advantage of the warming weather, Three Man Cannon and Queen Jesus are heading out on a joint east coast / midwest tour this month. The local bands, who share a member in drummer Pat Brier, will hit Pittsburgh, Bloomington, Asheville and more over the week+ run.

Queen Jesus recently picked up some steam with last year’s Tar Ranch EP, a record that swings between trippy country and indie rock. There’s a haze over the tracks, perhaps a result of the summer heat that hovered around the recording sessions. Three Man Cannon, on the other hand, cut through with a punchy, clean sound on albums like 2015’s Will I Know You Then. They stopped by for a Key Studio Session in January to showcase that effort, which also marked their Lame-O Records debut.
