XPN’s Gotta Hear Song of the Week: “Pamela” by Sweet Spirit

One of the newer bands we’re excited to see at the XPOnential Music Festival on Sunday, July 30, is the Austin band Sweet Spirit. An XPN Artist To Watch this past May, the band played an exuberant, fun Free At Noon in April, and lead singer Sabrina Ellis, a rock star in the making, will likely win over more fans at the forthcoming performance.

Sweet Spirit released their last album, St. Mojo in April, and the band has been riding a wave of popularity songs like rockers like “The Power,” and “Bat Macumba.” “Pamela,” is Ellis’s rocking, uplifting homage to Pamela Anderson, Ellis’s favorite actress in the 90s. Listen to it below.
