Go behind the scenes in Dirty Dollhouse’s “You Don’t Even Know Me” video
Chelsea Mitchell categorically reinvented her project Dirty Dollhouse for the April 2017 release of the debut LP Vinyl Child, moving from a country-folk acoustic sound to a more complex, expansive and varied exploration of the creative freedom that the “singer-songwriter” title affords.
The Philly artist premiered a new music video last week via Our Culture Mag for Vinyl Child‘s “You Don’t Even Know Me,” a quiet, haunting track with Mitchell’s clear voice and weaving harmonies slightly alleviating the pained melancholy of the lyrics.
The video, directed by Bob Sweeney, features scenes of Mitchell in moments leading up to the creation of Vinyl Child and the track. Watch the video below.
Dirty Dollhouse will be performing at the Wissahickon Brewing Company on July 28th with Nikki Lane as part of the BANDADE Brewery Tour (click here for more information) and as part of The Key’s Philly Music Showcase on September 27th at Milkboy. For more information, visit the XPN Concert Calendar.
