Watch Madalean Gauze’s new “Cool and Fun” music video
Madalean Gauze released her new project Cool and Fun on July 1st, and the Philadelphia singer-songwriter has succeeded in crafting an EP that lives up to its name. The fast six-track record encompasses a bunch of different sounds, quickly moving from silly to intense to rocking but all cool, all fun.
Two music videos have already been released to accompany the record, and this week, a third came out to give added perspective to the title track, all directed by Philly videographer Bob Sweeney. Madalean Gauze’s music video for “Cool and Fun” again features the cat masks found in the “Poison Pill” video as Gauze and company hype themselves up to be cool and fun on the outside in a jumpy, old-school film-like minute; it’s anyone’s guess what’s going on behind the masks, between the lines. Watch the video below, and stream Cool and Fun here.
The band will celebrate the album release at Johnny Brenda’s on July 21st with guests Haunted Homes and American Trappist. For tickets and more information, see the XPN Concert Calendar.
