Resilient is better than ever on its new album How to Peach - WXPN | Vinyl At Heart

As Drive By Truckers wrapped up the 2017 XPoNential Music Festival on Sunday, Resilient premiered their new album How to Peach back in Philadelphia at The Barbary after dropping it on Bandcamp earlier in the day.

The Philadelphia rock four-piece released its debut, Imagining Things, last summer, and they’ve been a consistent name in the local show scene since. Last week they were featured along with Honeytiger and The Vernes at The Key’s Philly Music Showcase, the first of a series hosted at MilkBoy.

In the short time since Imagining Things, the four-piece, femme-driven group’s How to Peach already feels more refined, tighter, more focused than before. Of course, Resilient haven’t lost any of their essence or flare at the same time; the fuzzy electric guitars are still wailing, the lyrics are still hard-hitting and the vocals still burning. Perhaps the transition from DIY to recording at a studio played a part, but either way How to Peach is a resounding success of a sophomore release.

Give a listen to How to Peach below. Resilient just announced a show at The Pharmacy on October 20th — click here for details.
