Listen to the new side project of Brittany Howard of Alabama Shakes, Bermuda Triangle
Earlier this summer, Brittany Howard of Alabama Shakes performed in a collaborative project with singer-songwriters Becca Mancari and Jesse Lafser for a She Shreds-curated concert that took place in Nashville. The set, it seems, was the start of something new for Howard — the band, called Bermuda Triangle, released its debut single today.

This is Howard’s second side-project beyond the realm of the Shakes; two years ago, she released a record with the punk-fueled garage rock outfit Thunderbitch. This band, by comparison, explores the folkier side of her repertoire, awash in resplendent vocal harmonies and acoustic guitars.
Bermuda Triangle is reportedly working in the studio, but has a short run of tour dates in the fall — you can find those below, and check out video of the band performing “Rosey” at The Basement East in Nashville.
