Ahead of their album release show at Johnny Brenda’s on Friday, regional rockers Levee Drivers have released a video for their new song “Cinnamon Eyes.” After releasing their first single “There You Go” in June — an aggressive track they debuted in their Key Studio Session way back when — the Bucks County heavy country group has returned with a more upbeat vibe for their new single.
The video, directed by local filmmaker Bob Sweeney, is simple in essence but provides a fitting visual for “Cinnamon Eyes.” Shot on grainy film, we see frontman August John Lutz II, lead guitarist Kyle Perella and their bandmates performing in close proximity, in front of colorfully-painted walls. Check it out below — based on these singles we’ve heard, the Levees’ upcoming LP Motel City Honey is sure to be a digable mix of crooning country-infused tracks, quicker-paced bluegrass tunes, and melodic indie ballads.
If you’re in town on Friday, they headline Johnny Brenda’s in support of the new album; tickets and more information on the show can be found at the XPN Concert Calendar.
