Yeah Yeah Yeahs take fans back in time with Fever to Tell reissue and tour documentary
Though they’ve been on a hiatus for what feels like forever, beloved indie rockers Yeah Yeah Yeahs have been cooking something up lately. Whispers of some sort of reunion have been floating around for awhile, following the band’s announcement of a few not-quite-tour dates. Now, news has broken that Yeah Yeah Yeahs are reissuing their 2003 debut album Fever to Tell, and put together a tour documentary to go along with it.
Out Oct. 20, the reissue will contain previously unreleased demos, B-sides and other rarities that are sure to satiate the recent lack of Yeah Yeah Yeahs in our lives. The Patrick Daughters-directed documentary is titled There Is No Modern Romance and features 14-year-old tour footage from the band’s time on the road in the UK supporting Fever to Tell. Yeah Yeah Yeahs have shared a trailer ahead of the documentary’s release, and you can watch it below.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs played their last Philly show in 2013. Check out The Key’s review of that show here. If you’re up for some light traveling, you can catch Yeah Yeah Yeahs live in Brooklyn at Kings Theatre on Nov. 7 for a show celebrating the reissue.
