To kick off the New Year, Philly post-punk duo King Azaz released a new single recorded last March in Fishtown’s Miner Street Recordings studio. “Bury The Pit” is the noisey follow up to the band’s equally energetic 2016 record, Spiritus Mundi.
While the newly released, in-your-face tune was tracked and mixed by Matt Poirier and Brian McTear of Miner Street, Weathervane Music made the stems available for download to their members back in March to mixdown their own versions as a part of their Workshop series. Tracked and mixed in two days, Weathervane posted the sessions to their website and featured member’s mixdowns in the comment section. Check out the full session on Weathervane’s website.
