The Vernes look back on summers past in “Summer’s Gone” music video
Philly-based indie-rockers and Key favorites The Vernes release a new music video for their jangly track, “Summer’s Gone.” Producing a sunny sound capable of recreating summertime in the dead of winter, The Vernes represent it visually with montage of nostalgic and candid tour moments, captured by director Cody Kussoy. The footage comes come from the band’s summer tour in support of their self-titled debut, out last year.
Highlighting tour hi-jinx and shots of glowing lights cast over the band, the music video instantly transports you to a carefree, blissful summer day. The group themselves describe the video as “a vignette of one particular perfect memory.”
The Vernes have no shows planned, but rumor has it they’ve been holed up working on their yet unnamed LP2. Keep an ear to the ground for any news surrounding the band on their Facebook page.
