Listen to The Wonder Years new album Sister Cities a day early
Local favorites The Wonder Years have made their sixth album Sister Cities available to stream ahead of its full release this Friday. The band’s latest work sees some of the heaviest material written to-date. Previously noted in the album’s teaser video, frontman Dan Campbell shared that “It’s about how we all eventually lose the people that mean the most to us, it’s about how we all experience grief and successes in these alternating tidal waves of joy and devastation.”
In tandem with the early stream, Campbell spoke with British online newspaper The Independent in depth about the album – how the writing process involved stacks of photos and journals kept from tour, to a global take on the butterfly effect. The article is a must read ahead of diving into the album.
Stream Sister Cities via The Independent, and hit the concert calendar to find tickets to the band’s pair of headlining dates at The Fillmore on June 8th and 9th, where they’ll be joined by Tigers Jaw, Tiny Moving Parts, and Worriers.
