Watch The War on Drugs perform “In Chains” on Late Night with Seth Meyers
Grammy-award winning group The War on Drugs continued their late-night T.V. run in support of Grammy-winning 2017 album A Deeper Understanding, appearing on Late Night with Seth Meyers last night to perform deep cut “In Chains.” The abbreviated performance for T.V. still stretched over 5 minutes, and the band brought the same energy they would at a headlining live show.
The Drugs continued to display late-night love for their sports teams. Previously on Fallon, frontman Adam Granduciel patched an Eagles rally towel onto a jean jacket DIY-style, and last night bassist Dave Hartley rocked a killer Sixers varsity jacket. At the band’s show at The Dell Music Center this past September, Granduciel jokingly called Hartley “the future coach of the Philadelphia 76ers.”
The War on Drugs are gearing up for the summer festival circuit, performing at Coachella, Shaky Knees, Primavera Sound, and more in the coming months before ultimately joining us this July at the XPoNential Music Festival, headlining BB&T Pavilion Saturday July 28.
