Rock veteran Phil Collins has seen a lot in his four-plus decade career, from his time tubthumping for prog icons Genesis to a lucrative career making glossy pop hits in the 80s and 90s, to a meme-able era of the aughts. And more recently, there’s Phil Collins the legacy artist, who returned from a self-imposed retirement last year to begin playing live again.

I caught him last summer while vacationing in London; his voice was clear as a bell, the setlist was perfection, and seeing thousands of fans stretched across Hyde Park simultaneously air drum when the beat drops on “In The Air Tonight” was all kinds of epic. And it’s an experience that U.S. fans will get to have this fall, as Collins has announced his first stateside dates in 12 years during the month of October, with a Philadelphia engagement at the Wells Fargo Center on October 8th.

Along with the tour, Collins is promoting a recent memoir — Not Dead Yet (released in 2016) — and a corresponding compilation called The Singles, collecting three discs of jams from across his solo career.

Below, watch Collins perform “In The Air Tonight” with The Roots on The Tonight Show. Tickets for the October 8th show go on sale via Ticketmaster Verified Fan on Monday, May 14th at 10 a.m., but you have to register first — more information on how to do that here — so do that before the deadline of this Friday, May 11th, by noon.
