The newest single from NJ indie punks Well Wisher is catchy and fun, making light of stressful issues. “I Know Better” is out this week in advance of their first record, This Is Fine, which is set to release in late September via 6131 Records. In a Facebook post announcement, Well Wisher commented that, “This song is about doing everything you can to try and be the bigger person even if it means taking in some pretty hard blows.”

The album artwork of a Barbie doll engulfed in flames seems to capture this sentiment pretty well, the feeling of smiling through gritted teeth, putting on an outward mask of composure despite a boiling internal rage. Listen to the song below; Well Wisher plays at DIY space No Face Studios on September 20th. Info here.
