Sadie Dupuis of Speedy Ortiz will read from her poetry collection Mouthguard at Tattooed Mom
You might recognize Sadie Dupuis as the guitarist and vocalist for Speedy Ortiz (who just released a new single ahead of their tour). Aside from being a talented songwriter and musician, Dupuis has a master’s degree in poetry, and she recently released her debut poetry collection Mouthgaurd via Gramma Press.
The 88-page, paperback collection features poems she wrote from 2011 through 2014 while studying for her degree at University of Massachusetts Amherst.
This month, Dupuis is on a short book tour that began on Halloween at Harvard Book Store, and continues on Monday, November 5, at Tattooed Mom on South Street. Dupuis will be reading alongside zach blackwood, and more info on the event can be found here.
Find the full run of dates on Dupuis’ book tour down below; limited copies of the book will be available at Mom’s, but you can also order a copy of Mouthguard here, via Gramma Press.
