Philly art-pop group Grandchildren has announced the making of their fourth album, their self-titled due out next year via Ernest Jenning Record Co.
With it comes a new single, “Zuni,” the title a callback to their 2015 LP. The song combines an folksy acoustic instrumentation with orchestral pop sounds, and was recorded when lead singers Aleks Martray and Shari Bolar reunited after two years out of touch; read more about its making in this Q&A over at The 405.
The track feels bittersweet, like both a closed chapter and a new beginning. Check it out below.
