Blubird gets lost in a colorful, chaotic collage in their new “Loans” video
If Blubird‘s Notes EP slipped under your radar when it was released this past summer, the band has the perfect reason to revisit it. The Philly five-piece just shared a new video for the song “Loans” off the EP; it’s full of collaged footage that provides a great visual to accompany the fast-paced song’s sense of urgency. Created by the band’s guitarist/keyboardist Henry Wolgast, the video blends retro-themed shots with fresh footage of the band, all washed in bright colors that give it a chaotic feel, which is countered with the repeated lyric of “let me be.”
Blubird has a show coming up on February 4 at West Philly’s Lizard Lounge 215 with Americanadian. Find more information on the XPN Concert Calendar and listen to more of their music on Bandcamp.
