The City & I brings unfiltered energy to new singles “A.D.D.” and “BOTTI BOI”

Colins “Bear” Regisford — best known as the bassist in Mannequin Pussy — is back with some new tunes from his solo project The City & I. The new tracks, “A.D.D.” and “BOTTI BOI” are the project’s first output since the 2015 EP Downer; there’s no word yet on whether they precede a longer release.

Both of the singles capture the musician’s knack for combining raw, unfiltered energy with his thoughtful songwriting; the first single “A.D.D.” full of intricate musical styles is countered with the shorter and scrappier, “BOTTI BOY,” both leaving us ready to hear more. Listen below.
