Caracara is aspirational on the Mannequin Pussy-assisted title track from their new Better EP
Local rockers Caracara are moving up in the world. The band teamed up with Grammy-nominated producer Will Yip for their next release, a three-track EP called Better. The EP will be released on March 29 digitally and April 14 physically via Yip’s Memory Music label, and its title track is out now.
At nearly six minutes long, “Better” is a cathartic and aspirational song that sees Caracara striving to be just that. Singer/guitarist Will Lindsay is joined by guest vocalist Marisa Dabice of Mannequin Pussy to create a soundscape the likes of which the band has dreamed about making since their 2017 debut Summer Megalith.
“We all share a common bond in that it’s our goal to create lush and monumental moments with our music,” Lindsay shared in a press release. “Better,” full of crashing highs and shimmering lows, sees Caracara committing their big dreams to record. Listen to “Better” below and pre-order the EP here.
