The WDAS Summer Block Party features Jill Scott, Jazmine Sullivan, Musiq Soulchild and more.
WDAS will bring its Summer Block Party back to the Mann Center on June 29, with Philadelphia singer, songwriter, and poet Jill Scott returning to headline for the second consecutive year. The R&B and soul-centric festival pairs some of the genre’s iconic figures with newer rising stars rising stars. This year Miss Jill Scott will be joined by Philly’s own Jazmine Sullivan, along with Mase, Musiq Soulchild, and DJ D-Nice.
A portion of proceeds from the Block Party will benefit Jill Scott’s Blues Babe Foundation, which invests in the success of Philadelphia youth by providing mentorship, leadership development and financial support.
