Hurry carved out a place for themselves in the Philly scene with their 2018 LP Every Little Thought, and now the trio of low-key indie rockers is back with the release of two new singles, out now on Lame-O Records.

The languid, five-minute-long “Frustrate You” is a slower tempo than we’re used to from the band that gives them space for some quiet reflection — Hurry doesn’t always have to be in a hurry, and it serves them well to slow down. The band picks the pace back up on “An Element Of Surprise,” an upbeat track that brings back a sense of urgency, as vocalist Matt Scottoline sings, “All I’ve got is one more night.” Listen to both songs below via Bandcamp.

Hurry plays Everybody Hits on May 10 with Happy Accidents and Gladie; they’ll also appear at the Rock The Cause benefit at World Cafe Live on May 19, and play Kung Fu Necktie on July 12 with The Sheila Divine. Find more information on all shows on the XPN Concert Calendar.
