White Reaper rocks out on new single “Might Be Right”
Rock five-piece White Reaper released their new single “Might Be Right” last week via Elektra Records. The song is the band’s first release since their 2017 LP The World’s Best American Band.
“Might Be Right” is lively and vibrant, as is the accompanying official music video which is a simple, color-blocked recording of the group doing their thing. The track is carried by amplified vocals, a catchy, pounding bass line, and shredding electric guitar riffs. It’s a successful blend of ’80s rock and contemporary punk, much like a lot of their earlier music as well.
White Reaper consists of Tony Esposito on guitar and vocals, Nick Wilkerson on drums, his twin brother Sam on bass, Ryan Hater on keys, and Hunter Thompson on guitar. The band is originally from Louisville Kentucky and recently opened for The Killers. They’ll be touring the U.S. this summer and through the fall. Catch them in Philly at our very own World Cafe Live with Sheer Mag and Thin Lips on June 22nd. Click here for more info, and check out the video for White Reaper’s new single “Might Be Right” below.
