Birdie Busch sings the outlaws and finds resolve in new single “Dreamers”
Birdie Busch has been making music in Philadelphia for over a decade, and with her newest song, she turns inward to explore her place as an artist in today’s world. “Dreamers” was recorded with fellow Philly musicians Todd Erk, Charlie Brooks, Jaron Olevsky, and Nick Krill, and is accompanied by a video directed by Daniel Fox. “You told me to love the dreamers, and so I love the dreamers,” Busch sings as projected images wash over her in black and white. “We listened to all the outlaws, and so I sing the outlaws.”
“I wrote the song as a kind of conversation with wanting to understand all these disparate points of view that got us to this present place in our country and world and trying to find resolve and peace in my heart,” Busch shared in an email, adding that the song doubles as a great soundtrack to your dreamy summer road trips.
