After signing with 6131 Records, Grayling has begun to share her first new music in three years. She released “Chalk Dust” last month, and just returned with “Cursed,” the second in the series of new singles. The solo project of songwriter Lexi Campion, who writes and records every vocal and instrumental part of her songs, Grayling’s last release was 2016’s Everything That Burns EP.
“Cursed” is loud and upbeat while embracing a more forthright punk tone than Grayling’s older work. Campion sings and shouts with urgency, “I’ve been wasting time / Don’t waste my time.” Listen below, and catch Grayling in Asbury Park on July 19. Find more information on the XPN Concert Calendar.
