Jealous of the Birds announce fall residency at Dawson St. Pub

Jealous of the Birds has announced a series of East Coast residencies, playing small venues in Philly, New York and Boston. She’ll be holding down the fort at Dawson St. Pub in Manayunk over four Thursdays this fall: September 26 and October 3, 10, and 17.

The project of Northern Irish singer-songwriter and guitarist Naomi Hamilton, Jealous of The Birds released their new EP Wisdom Teeth earlier this year. The band was last in town for NonCOMM this spring, and other than that performance, the upcoming residency will be their first proper shows in Philly.

“The songs on Wisdom Teeth were some of my favorites to write and the whole EP was such a joy to record,” Hamilton shared in a press release. “My hope is that this growth and sense of discovery becomes tangible for the listener and they feel like they’re along for the ride.”
