Camp Candle are introspective and imaginative on their EO if late-summertime jams, If We Had a Pool
Camp Candle has spent their summer readying their new EP for release, and as the season comes to a close, If We Had a Pool is out now on all streaming services. “Reflections of the past tangle with projections of the future,” the indietronica duo of Mark “Nu Ra” Cave and Briana “Hetepsa” Mills write in a press release, summing up the ethereal feel of the EP’s introspective and imaginative songs.
The previously released single “NRT” kicks things off with a smooth and steady beat, and the dreaminess continues across “Lilah” and “Come With Me,” your soundtrack to the last of the long, lazy days.
Camp Candle celebrates the release with a stacked gig at Bourbon & Branch tonight (August 23). Comedian Nicole Phoenix will host the show, which will feature opening sets from Weekend Athlete and Overwinter and visual art by Katie Krueger and Lauren Wrightson.
