REGO channels art house cinema in the new “Pray for You” video

Philly electro / R&B singer and songwriter REGO is putting her name back on our queue with the release of the music video for her single “Pray For You,” which hit The Key’s radar yesterday. This comes following the release of her impressive debut To Be Determined at the end of July.

For the “Pray For You” video, REGO worked with filmmaker Tristan Seyek, who presents the video in French New Wave-inspired black and white, punctuated by moody lighting and silhouette. According to an email from the artist,  “the video features Rego as Polly, navigating what it means to be a femme in the music industry.”
