Roger Harvey‘s latest endeavor will be a series of 7″ singles released this fall, the Philly-based singer-songwriter has just announced. The singles will be available digitally and on rare 7″ lathe cut vinyl, limited to 50 copies each. This will be the first time Harvey has recorded with his band The High Lifers.

The first installment leads off with a sparse and folkish song called “Twice As High,” while the second side features a cover of Kacey Musgraves’ unreleased song “Burn One With John Prine,” which gives a nod to a songwriting legend both the younger musicians have admired throughout their careers.

Listen to both new songs below. The 7″ is available to pre-order here. Roger Harvey will play MilkBoy on October 19 and Kung Fu Necktie on November 21. Find more information on both upcoming shows on the XPN Concert Calendar.
