Katie Barbato talks about her journey to Long Night Moon on the 25 O’Clock podcast

Local singer-songwriter Katie Barbato recently sat down with host Dan Drago for her second appearance on his long-running 25 O’Clock podcast. The conversation gives Barbato a chance to talk about her brand new album, but the two also take some time to look back at their decade-long friendship — they first met at a sidewalk show back in 2009.

Barbato released her new acoustic album, Long Night Moon, just this month. In the nearly 50-minute conversation, Barbato and Drago talk about her new release, and also branch off into other topics, like performing solo versus with a band, the songwriter’s day job with a local music and arts nonprofit, and that time her song “Magical Ending” was used on the Netflix show Yankee.
