Celebrate Kate Bush with the Night of 1000 Kates at Underground Arts

The annual Night of 1000 Kates returns for its sixth year next March, celebrating the work of Kate Bush through artistic interpretation. This year the show will take place at Underground Arts on Saturday, March 7, 2020.

More than just a tribute to the English singer-songwriter, the event’s organizers describe it as “a night of other-world-making and future-imagining using Kate Bush’s craft as the source material to create all manner of performances. Fly with us, away from the here and now of straight time to a future of shameless lush ecstatic femme decadence.”

Local Kate Bush enthusiasts with an idea for an act — be it dance, drag, music, humor, etc. — can apply to be featured in the show. Applications are due on December 29 and can be found on the event’s Facebook page.
