Oldermost look back while looking ahead on “Gotta Get Out of Here” from new EP No Time
We were first introduced to Philly’s Oldermost way back in 2010, when the band dropped off a CD of some of their first recordings at the XPN office. Ten years later, Bradford Bucknum, Steve Robbins, and Dan Wolgemuth are looking back on their decade as friends and bandmates, and just announced a forthcoming EP called No Time that commemorates the milestone with four new songs.
Before No Time comes out on March 27, Oldermost has shared the lead single “Gonna Get Out of Here,” a warm and inviting track that showcases the band’s signature harmonies. According to the band, No Time expands upon the self-described “atmosphericana” sound they’ve established throughout their career. Recorded in one afternoon at the South Jersey studio Gradwell House, it’s meant to capture “the fleeting moment of a good band on a good day.”
